Amythest's Education

From 1990 through 1994, I attended Apopka High School. Upon graduation, I promptly enrolled at New College of the University of South Florida. After one year, I left New College and went to work. When I moved to Texas in 1999, I began taking classes at Austin Community College. From there, I am going on to the University of Texas at Austin.

I have a very wide range of interests. Dating from childhood, I has always been fascinated with the studies of Psychology, in particular those pertaining to children and social issues. Recently, I discovered that there was a field of Psychology devoted to another interest of hers, business. It is commonly referred to as Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Most schools have classes in these subjects. Another interest of mine is helping people. One way that I thought of is to become a nurse. Nursing is a very difficult but rewarding profession. I haven't formally decided what to do yet, but all of the above are things I am considering.
